Environmental considerations
The sustainability of our built
environment forms the fundamental tool of an
architect’s charter and education. Logic would
dictate that a passively heated and cooled
home that accounts for prevailing breezes
and solar orientation, insulation and
natural ambient day lighting is an essential
of good design.
By choosing to engage our services we will
design a responsible building with the aim
of reducing your running costs. Nationally
we are not far from requiring a building to
be star rated to enable the sale of a home
or commercial building – so design it right
now.

"From the design brief through to final
plan and execution we found the team at King
and Campbell to be very approachable,
competent, skillful and creative, especially
as we had to communicate from Melbourne
quite a lot of the time. As a result we have
a beautiful, well-proportioned and
comfortable home, no need for
air-conditioning or much heating. Low energy
consumption was one of our briefs. Each
individual room as well as the overall
aspect is very attractive. Craig and Kim are
still available to us, very generously, for
friendly advice. Thank you King and
Campbell."
