King + Campbell were awarded the winner of the design competition for regional emerging Architects by the Property Development NSW appointed expert Design Review Panel, for a new iconic public building on the Coffs Harbour Jetty Foreshore. The design brief overview is for the new building to become the central community gathering place across the Coffs Harbour Foreshore Precinct that is currently under development.

 

The Coffs Harbour Jetty Foreshore Community Building comprises a lower ground level community storage facility including associated amenities, storage and a food and drink kiosk; as well as an upper ground level community facility, food and drink premises and outdoor terrace. The design also includes public domain and landscape works including hard and softscape, and the extension and augmentation of services and infrastructure as required.

 

King + Campbell are engaged to complete all stages of the project from Development Application through to Tender and Construction.

The building has been completed in August 2023.
